Easter Carrot Croissants

pinningparent.blogspot.com This is what I made for a snack on Easter. Carrot shaped croissants, filled with tuna salad, egg salad or chicken salad and add parsley for the top. This was the first time I did this so it was not the greatest but I think they turned out ok. You can use biscuits or croissant rolls, take the dough and wrap it around a turkey butter baster to help make the shape of a carrot. Make sure to add a little oil to the butter baster so the dough does not stick to it. Then gently pull the dough off the butter baster while trying to keep the shape of the carrot. Then cook for the time the instructions say on the package, pull out of oven and let them cool off. Fill with whatever salad you like the best, I used a small spoon to add the salad inside the carrot-shaped dough and topped with parsley. If you have a better way of doing this, please feel free to make a comment.

Easter Carrot Treats

All you have to do is make your Rice Krispies treats from the directions on the cereal box or whatever recipe you have for them. I used green and orange Icing to decorate them to look like a carrot. If you don’t have time to make the Rice Krispies treats you can buy the ones that come pre-made in the packages and just cut in the middle of one on an angle so the shape is a triangle and decorate. You can buy the Icing in the tubes and just add a cake decorating tip tool to do the decorating or you can buy the cans of Icing and put the Icing into a Ziploc bag, cut one small hole in the corner of ...
