Easter Carrot Croissants

pinningparent.blogspot.com This is what I made for a snack on Easter. Carrot shaped croissants, filled with tuna salad, egg salad or chicken salad and add parsley for the top. This was the first time I did this so it was not the greatest but I think they turned out ok. You can use biscuits or croissant rolls, take the dough and wrap it around a turkey butter baster to help make the shape of a carrot. Make sure to add a little oil to the butter baster so the dough does not stick to it. Then gently pull the dough off the butter baster while trying to keep the shape of the carrot. Then cook for the time the instructions say on the package, pull out of oven and let them cool off. Fill with whatever salad you like the best, I used a small spoon to add the salad inside the carrot-shaped dough and topped with parsley. If you have a better way of doing this, please feel free to make a comment.

Halloween Pumpkin Eating a Baseball

pinningparent.blogspot.com My son said he wanted his pumpkin to be eating a baseball, so this is what we did. This is so cute, good job my baby! I hope you like it!

Penguin Foot Craft

pinningparent.blogspot.com My children and I made these as a craft for part of my CDA project and we had a lot of fun doing it, plus I have a nice picture of their feet. All you need is color paint, sponge, small paintbrush, paper, and some wiggle eyes if you have them, if not use your paintbrush to paint eyes on. Paint the bottom of the foot with the sponge and black paint, have your child stand on the piece of paper, push on their foot and toes just a little and pull it up nice and easy. Color the middle part of the belly white and add some arms, scarf, hat, nose, eyes and whatever you think your penguin would look cute with. I made one too but no pictures of my funny penguin are going up, lol. I hope you like it and have fun making foot penguins.

Chicken Recipe

pinningparent.blogspot.com Chicken stuffed with broccoli and cheese, covered in french’s fried onions. Yummy! Take a meat tenderizer and pound the chicken until it’s flat. Crunch up french’s fried onions in a throwaway bag or a Ziploc bag and add the chicken in it and mix it all up. Make sure to cover all the chicken in the french’s fried onions. Pull chicken out of the bag and put it on a greased baking pan/cookie sheet, lying flat then add fresh cut broccoli pieces and mild cheddar or Colby shredded cheese. Fold the chicken in half and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until chicken is done. This was so easy and very yummy, hope you like it.

Vicks and Honey Home Remedies

pinningparent.blogspot.com Use Vicks VapoRub and Socks. Even the worst cough can be stopped within five to ten minutes, and last all night. Just apply the Vicks VapoRub generously to the bottom of your child’s feet, and cover with socks. Works 100% of the time, and has been proven to work better than prescription drugs. This really works, I have done this for the last two weeks. You can also give one tsp. of  Honey as needed, recommended by our Pediatrician. Please always check with your Pediatrician/Doctor before you use anyone’s home remedies for your children or your self!

Movie Night

pinningparent.blogspot.com This was a movie night for my children and some friends to watch The Lorax. They all got tickets to buy what they wanted before the movie started. They all went home with Dr. Seuss's word puzzles and a picture of the fun night we had. Please share some of your movie night fun that you have had.

Green Hair Home Remedy

pinningparent.blogspot.com                                                                      This is what I do for my daughter’s hair after it turns green from swimming in the pool. Wash hair as you would normally do and squeeze out excess water, poor white vinegar all over the hair and rub it in really good. Please DON’T get it into their eyes because I am sure it will burn, cover their face with a clean, dry rag. Let the vinegar sit on the hair for about five minutes then rinse out. Wash your child’s body while you wait because the vinegar makes the body itch, well it made my daughter itch and it turned her neck a little red too. This t...
